Ramshot True Blue smokeless powder is a new and newly manufactured product. It hasn’t been pulled from loaded ammunition and it’s not military surplus powder. Each Ramshot True Blue is double-based and spherical shaped.

There are many advantages to reloading using the smokeless powder in magnum cartridges. These advantages include but are not limited to, higher velocities, cleaner burn, smoother recoil, better accuracy, and higher charge weights. The higher velocity is a result of the higher pressure generated by the magnum cartridges. The cleaner burn means that the propellant burns much cleaner than in rifle rounds. The smoother recoil means that the recoil is reduced.

The Ramshot smokeless powder used in most of their pistols and rifles is new and hasn’t been pulled from military ammo or surplus ammo. All of the powders in the Ramshot family are double-based and spherical shaped. Ramshot LRTS is targeted at 338 Lapua shooters. The burn rate is similar to Retumbo.
