The Short Action Customs Base Comparator Insert is intended to be used in conjunction with two short bodies. You will use the headspace or bullet insert of your choosing paired with the base comparator which has a flat base and cut out for small and large rifle primers. What this allows the user to do is measure accurate headspace numbers of their fired brass without having to decap their brass. Each base comparator insert is precision machined out of 17-4 Stainless Steel for increased durability and corrosion resistance.
